Starting from the 25th of May 2018 the European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data EU 2016/679 (hereinafter GDPR), published on the European Official Journal on the 4th of May and having legal value for all European countries, has become operational.
The GDPR establishes rules regarding the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as rules concerning the free circulation of such data.
